Garden Time Planner App Reviews

This app has much more work needed. Ive had to re-enter my zip code so many times, but it changes my zone back to a different one. When trying to view my garden to add plants, it boots me out. When trying to view any of the videos it says "page not found" and video doesnt load. Basically this is a waste of an app.

I dont know why everyone is hating on this app. As an experienced gardener, its giving me everything Im looking for. I love that once you start adding plants to your garden, it automatically fills in when to direct sow, start from seed, or transplant each plant. You need to know a little about gardening to use this app. One persons review complained that sweet potatoes are marked with "N/A" for all dates. I saw the same thing, but where I live sweet potatoes can be grown year round so thats probably why.

This app has almost no useful information. Little to no planting data such as indoor sow date, etc. I tried 10 veggies and got nothing but time to harvest and direct sow date. Would be useful if they filled the database but until then dont bother.

After trying out a lot of apps, this was my favorite! The only criticism I have would be to extend the list of veggies to include some fruits and other veggies. I.e. Strawberries, blueberries, different varieties of veggies, like green onions (not just onions.. Since they are typically sewn at different times). Thank you for this app! I look forward to seeing what you do with it in the future.

Has potential. Videos dont load though. In Ap or in Safari.

I created an account. Made a garden. Cant go any further, cant add plants, cant browse anything. Just sends me in circles.

Its as bad as the other reviews say - n/a seems to be their favorite phrase. Removing this app.

This app looks like it could be a good one, but it doesnt work. When you try to add plants to your garden, it just takes you in a circle. Please fix!

So, I read the description & then the reviews. Not looking good at first. But then, I decided to give it a shot. Im really not a tech savvy person. In a matter of minutes, I was up and running. I had no problems with adding my multiple gardens or plants. The task list is a great format. Like the easy access to the how to videos and the store. This is a great tool for the average gardener. I can easily plan my own indoor seed sowing dates according to my local weather conditions for my area. It would be nice if Burpee would add the date ranges for indoor seed sowing and transplants. I believe that at sometime in the future these will be added.

I thought I could use this app as a planner to remind me when it was time for certain garden tasks. I put my zip code in so it knows what zone Im in, but the app gives completely inappropriate planting times for my area. For example it suggested that I plant cucumbers in March. The last frost date in my area isnt until April 15th! And now in Feb it thinks I should be direct sowing my spring vegetables while the ground is still frozen.

I have no idea why this so has such a low rating. It is exactly what I was looking for to help me plan my garden. It lets me save a list of the veggies I want to grow, know which ones to start from seed and which ones to plant directly, and when. The links to videos are really helpful.

Constantly being kicked out of the my garden page back to the main page. Needs major updating, otherwise it would be a very useful app!

The app wont let you add and track plants. Some kind of programming error redirects you back to the main page when you click "add plants to my garden". Until this is fixed, the "planning" aspect of this app isnt worth much.

Im in love with this app. Even after a few years, I still consider myself a novice gardner, and I have quite a long, busy work week. This app has kept me on track and reminded me of when my seeds should be sown, and when I should transplant. All the videos are very helpful as well. Ive always loved Burpee, and this just makes me love it that much more!!

This app needs work. Cant delete anything. Just prompts me to add a garden over & over again. Plus doesnt give a whole lot of options of plants. Burpee could do so much more with this app.

I created an account, made a garden and then tried to add plants-it kept rerouting me back to "select garden" page! I cant even browse flowers without it doing the same!

Comes off as a very handy app with a lot of great information for planting, but redirects me back to the home page every time I try to add a plant to my garden, even with restarting the app. Overall, once the glitches are fixed, this app will be wonderful to use.

Spent 5 mins and ran into several blocking bugs.

I wasnt sure after reading the reviews, but this was a good app, very informative, great features. I suspect the negative reviews are due to user error. I had some trouble adding plants to my garden also (it isnt intuitive). You have to select the plant, then on the plant information page scroll to the bottom and select the green + (it will change to a red -). Then youll find it in my garden.
