Garden Time Planner App Reviews

I downloaded the app and liked the herbs and flowers I could add, but could not find a way to add vegetables, herbs or flowers that werent on the provided list. I will delete this app and see if I can find something else that is easier to use and adapt to what I grow.

I like the idea of the app but the planting dates were way off even if I picked zip codes where I lived before. Not sure where they were getting the information. The app also freezes. So the app needs a major rewrite. Save your time.

Cant log in, cant use. What a waste. Stay away

This is a great idea, and I hope they get it working correctly. But for now, it crashes like a nearsighted teenager in a Ferrari.

I was excited when I heard about this online and despite the bad reviews didnt think it could be that bad. Overall I found it not helpful. I did not have any crashing problems but found the whole thing wanting. When you add a plant to your garden it is very vague, like carrots. Coming from a seed company I had hoped that when you selected carrots that it would have a drop down menu so you could select which kind and get more detailed information like you would find on the back of that specific seed packet. It doesnt have that. Until then I dont find this appany more helpful than a handwritten calendar.

Mostly just a sales tool. What little help it was stopped working right after a week or so. Keeps telling me to select a garden to see planting dates. That is about all it does anyway. Gives your frost date and a link to buy burped seeds.

Complete waste of time. Keeps locking up. Deleted it.

Dreadful. The list of flowers is NOT a comprehensive one. How can you forget roses and peonies?? There is no information about height, width, what it might pair best with, soil needs, etc. While the app is easy to navigate, there is a disappointing lack of information.

Had it for 5 minutes and deleted it. Worse than dreadful.

I love that I can tag all the veggies I want in my garden. It also lists my to do timeline in order of when I need to start them indoors. It takes the time spent figuring them all out on my own to nothing now. Love this app!

This app offers what I was looking for: a good list of plants with very basic care information and sow and transplant dates, based on my location. It also creates a to-do list based on that information and all plants you want in your garden. There is huge potential for this app and things it needs to improve on before I give it more stars: the plant list should include all plants in burpees catalog, with more care details. I also need to see harvest dates for succession planting and for winter crop. The planner is really why I downloaded this app and a better and different types of graphic outputs would be nice, such as in calendar or Gantt chart format. Also, the app still crashes frequently on me.

I want to like this app. But its crashes!! I try to add plants to my garden and it crashes or glitches on me!! If this worked like it should, it would be an amazing app. It has great potential. I like the informational videos and all the useful information. Im a new gardener and I just want a free app to help me learn how to garden.

It would be a great app if it would just cycle the planner. When I try to refresh it the "tasks due" still shows tasks done in June and July. When you get it updated Ill download it again. I like being able to order seeds right from the app too but that doesnt work either.

I deleted it as soon as I got into! It sounded like a great idea but the ap never would do anything. I could t even get past the create account page!

Cant really use this. Very clugy and freezes. Hoping they care enough for a vs update ASAP. Need to start planning my garden.

Basic!

More than a few of the planting dates listed are nonsensical like "n/a 11 - Oct 30" or "April 15th - Mar 18th". There arent any dates listed for garlic at all. The planner freezes and doesnt have a calendar in it. I like the idea of this thing but I think they should have actually finished the app and edited it. Im not sure how the planner can possibly manage anything without accurate planting dates. I cant even tell if this app notifies you at all of upcoming tasks. There no where to adjust or view settings.

I am looking for an app that will give me dates, for example I need to know when to start my seeds inside but this will only give sow dates and for almost every veggie I looked up it just has N/A for start seed date

Looks nice and seems like there is a lot of potential. But doesnt always even show planting or transplanting dates. For example sweet potatoe planting all say n/a. Im in zone 8, perfect for it.
